Gates open Thursday June 26th at 5:00 PM NO EARLY ARRIVALS. Music goes from 1:00 PM til Midnight on Friday and 9:00 AM til midnight on Saturday, all Picnic attendees must be off site by Sunday June 29th by noon, no late

 

Tickets

The following tickets are available at the gate:

 

Friday Only: $25.00
Saturday Only: $25.00

Camping: $15.00
Flat rate of $15.00/person to spend 1–3 nights. If you spend the night you pay $15, no cars in camp ground.

RV Fee: $100.00
Ice Chest inside festival: $10.00 (No glass allowed on festival site.)

 

CASH ONLY – NO ATM AVAILABLE AT FESTIVAL SITE

NO GLASS: ALL ICE CHESTS WILL BE CHECKED BEFORE ENTRANCE TO THE FESTIVAL SITE, NO GLASS WILL BE ALLOWED ON SITE.

If you go out the ticket gate, you must have your wristband on to re-enter the festival site.

Parking is FREE!

Children 12 and under are admitted for FREE!

Really Cool Art Vendors and Picnic Merch are available for sale on site, Picnic Merch is CASH ONLY!!

NO OPEN FIRES ANYWHERE ON THE FESTIVAL SITE

 

Shade Tents

Shade tents are only allowed in designated area and only as room allows. When that area is full no other shade tents will be allowed. Size limit 10×20, 10×10 is preferred.

 

What Do VIP Tickets  Include?

The VIP ticket includes access to a covered tent concrete floor pavilion with tables, chairs, fans, 1 meal a day on Friday & on Saturday and 4 non-alcoholic drinks each day. You are welcome to bring your own cooler for $10 (no glass please), and the very best view of the stage!

What not to Bring

  • No Weapons
  • No Glass Containers will be allowed ANYWHERE on the festival site
  • For Safety Reasons – NO Motorized Vehicles inside the festival (No golf carts or 4 wheelers except by event staff).
  • For Safety Reasons – NO Pets
  • No Professional Photography equipment, please restrict photos to the first 2 songs of each artist set and NO video or audio recording.

From Memphis, TN or Tupelo, MS:
  • Take Oxford exit off HWY 78 at Holly Springs.
  • The Picnic is 12 miles south on HWY 7.
  • Go past Wall Doxey State park on your right continue South towards Oxford to HWY 310, you’ll see us on the Right!
  • It’s about 15 minutes South of Holly Springs on HWY 7, hosted by Betty Davis BBQ.
Driving directions from Oxford, MS:
  • Take HWY 7 north 15 miles, Picnic is on the left at the corner of HWY 7 and HWY 310
  • UBER from Oxford, MS serves this area

Camping

Camping

Camping is $15.00 per person. If you pay $15.00 you can camp Thursday–Saturday night. It doesn’t matter is you camp 1 night or 3 nights it is still $15.00. All camping is primitive (bring your own tent & camping gear). There are 3 showers and water faucets available on site.

RVs are welcome. There are no hook ups. RV fee is $100.00 that is the fee for bringing an RV into the festival, RV campers must purchase a camping ticket for $15 per person. RV camping and tent camping are not allowed in the same area, no cars are allowed in the campground.

Campers must be off the festival site by noon Sunday June 29th.

Three water faucets offer running water in the picnic campground area. Shade is limited.

There are three outdoor shower stalls.

No glass, pets, or motorized vehicles on the festival grounds, you CAN NOT park your vehicle in the campground area, you will be allowed to unload near the campground then move your vehicle to the parking lot.

Food & Vendors

World Famous Betty Davis BBQ will be serving the very best barbecue & catfish.

Oxsicles will be onsite selling popsicles to help cool off.

Fresh cut fruit of all kids (especially watermelon) will be provided by the Picnic, a donation is recommended.

About the Picnic

The North Mississippi Hill Country Picnic exists to enhance appreciation and educate the general public about the native art form of North Mississippi Hill Country blues music through performance, preservation, and interpretation.
